 You could try some of the other local breweries like Federal Jacks, D.L. Geary, Allagash, Sebago Brewing, Gritty McDuff's or Shipyard.  There is also a scrapyard somewhere in Berwick, OneSteel in Arundel (Route 1), and Perry's in Portland.  Maybe you'll have luck with one of them.

Does anyone know where I can find a used empty beer keg the 1/2 barrel 17 1/2 gallon size out of stainless steel that I can convert into a large brew pot, I have tried craigs list ebay and even emailed red hook looking for a damaged keg and they said to just buy a keg and not return it and i would just lose the deposit.
