Club Members Winners in New England's Largest Mead Competition |

Linda Trombley, a member of the Southern Maine Homebrewers wins Best of Show at New England's largest Mead competition. She won with a Metheglin Mead, Metheglin is a spiced Mead. Eric Sprague won first place in the Cyser category, which is an Apple based Mead. Both Linda and Eric are from North Berwick Maine This attachment is the press release for last weekends Mead competition. At this point, I would like congratulate Eric Sprague and Linda Trombley for their gold medals and Linda for her Mardi Gras Mead taking home Best of Show. "This is a big deal for Linda and our Club."
